Handmade in Canada - Ottawa and Toronto

The party leaves the Atlantic Coast and heads to Ontario. We are stopping today in Ottawa, our nation's capital, before heading on to the urban hustle and bustle of Toronto.

In Ottawa, we meet up with lively crafter rikrak. In the rikrak shop you can expect to find a colourful assortment of one of a kind & limited edition modern, sustainable, eco-friendly patchwork projects.

If rikrak was to take a break from her busy sewing schedule, she would love to have the chance to spend an enlightening afternoon with this famous Canadian:

"I'd especially love to visit with the inspiring humanitarian, community activist and philosopher Jean Vanier. I have been much moved by his amazing work for many years, and I'd love to have an afternoon to sit peacefully by a beautiful canadian summer lake and talk with him."

Rikrak would also like you to know that as a special treat for our readers, she is offering 25% off all purchases, with the promo code *summer!* This offer is good until midnight July 1st.

Now on to Toronto, where we meet RJCharms. RJ uses a fantastic selection of charms, mixed with a colourful selection beads to create whimsical jewellery designs and bookmarks.

RJ would love to let her taste buds be tempted by this tasty Canadian:

"I'd love to meet Ricardo Larrivée {from the Food network}, to cook a meal alongside him and then of course enjoy the efforts!"

At RJCharms, you will always find free shipping to Canada and the US. As a special treat, for the duration of our promo, RJCharms will also include a sweet keyring with all purchases over $25.

Remember that all purchases in any of our participating shops also earn you ballots for the grand prize draw - a gorgeous rug woven by fiveforty.
